When is the Fishing Season at Cedros Island?
For inshore fishing at Cedros Island, the best sportfishing season runs from June to October, with peak species density—and consequently, the best catches—occurring in July and September. It’s worth mentioning that the Yellowtail is active year-round, with medium activity from January to June and high activity from July to December. This is why Cedros Island is often referred to as the “Yellowtail Capital.” The fishing season for Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Swordfish is from September to November

How to Get to Cedros Island
Your journey officially begins in San Diego, CA. After crossing the CBX bridge using your access ticket, which you'll obtain online the day before, you can leave your vehicle in the CBX parking lot, monitored 24/7 for approximately $18 per day.
We’ll be waiting for you there, where a team member will guide you step by step to Tijuana International Airport. From there, you’ll board a Grand Caravan plane bound for Cedros Island.
The CBX is located 15 minutes south of downtown San Diego. This facility, built in 2015, connects San Diego to Tijuana International Airport via a raised bridge. You’ll board your private plane here and reach Cedros Island in just 2 hours.
Please note that there is a maximum weight limit of 70 pounds for your luggage.
