In the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site, the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, lies Punta Pájaros, an almost virgin beach perfect for fly fishing.
The only way to get to Punta Pájaros is by air. You have to arrive at Cancun International Airport and take a Cessna type plane and make a flight of approximately 45 minutes to a landing strip on the water.

What to fish?

Punta Pajaros fly fishes in semi virgin beaches where the Macabi and Black Snook are abundant. bonefish, permit, tarpon, snook, barracuda, jacks and jack mackerel are also fly fished but in smaller quantities.
