The lake El Salto is considered one of the most impressive dams in northwestern Mexico, both for its capacity and its natural surroundings. It is fed by the waters of the Conitaca and La Boquilla rivers, which flow down from the elevations of the Sierra Madre Occidental.
The lake El Salto is famous for its large largemouth bass fishing. Anglers come to the lodge with the idea of breaking their own bass fishing record.
The lodge has all the amenities for you to have a great sport fishing experience, cabins for a good rest, boats in very good condition, guides with a lot of experience. Whoever comes to visit here always comes back.
Sinaloense regional food, fresh seafood and lots of seasoning will be some of the delicacies that you will enjoy in this experience.
Great sea bass is what the fishermen who visit us are looking for. The lake El Salto is ideal to try all types of hooks and rigs. The Texas with lizards is the most commonly used bait rig. Catfish and Tilapia are also fish you can catch.
One hour and fifty minutes from Mazatlan International Airport is the lake El Salto. This airport receives domestic and international commercial flights, mainly from the United States. Arrive in Mazatlan and in a blink of an eye we will take you to the lake to break your record in catching largemouth bass.
You can also get there by car on highway number 15 Mazatlan - Culiacan, until you get to the SIN 1 highway, a road that will take you directly to the lake El Salto.
Catch and release
At nomonday we are convinced that the most important contribution an angler can make to the habitat of his fishing spot is by practicing catch and release. We invite you to adopt and respect this practice and promote it with all your fishing friends.
